Clutch noise when pressed and how to fix it
It's very annoying if we drive a car with a noisy clutch. Clutch is a place to disconnect or connecting the engine power to the transmission when we make a gearshift. When the clutch is engage, the power will flow from the engine to the transmission, and when the clutch is disengage, the power stops.
The other function of clutch is to make the gearshifting is more easily, and for the car with manual transmission, pressing the clutch pedal is a must before we shifting to another gear. Without pressing the clutch pedal, transmission gearshift is not possible.

Worn out pivot and release fork are common things that make clutch noise when pedal is pressed. You will hear squeaky noise as long as the clutch pedal is moved, both press or depress.
The common problem that makes the noise is because the joined part (pivot and release fork) is rusty and lost its lubrication. See the image below for its position
From the picture above, we can notice that the pivot becomes the support when release fork works to press the clutch plate. When the contact between the pivot and release fork is is rust or worn out, then the squeaking noise will be heard.

The next common causes for clutch noise when pressed is because of worn out push rod and release fork. See the joined contact between push rod an release fork from the image below
From the image above we can notice that the push rod is contacted with release fork. This contact point is often rust and make the end surface of push rod and relese fork being worn out. Worn out parts often makes the noise heard. To remove the noise, we also can spray to contact point with penetrant liquid or we can apply some chassis grease.

The other common causes of clutch noise when pressed is because of worn out release bearing (throw out bearing). Worn out release bearing is often make rattling noise when the clutch pedal is pressed and also makes vibration to the clutch pedal.
Release bearing is used to pressed the clutch diaphragm spring so the clutch plate will disengage the power flow from the engine to the transmission. When the worn out release bearing is pressing the diaphragm spring, the bearing will roll out and make the rattling noises.
There is no other way to fix this problem except by replacing the damaged bearing with a new bearing.

- Open the dust cover boot from the clutch box case
- Pay attention to the back side of the release fork were the pivot placed
- Spray the penetrant liquid onto the pivot position
- Press and depress the clutch pedal repeatedly
- Repeat the steps above until the noise disappears
