Every car has several important systems inside. Each system has a variety of components that work alone or together to fulfill a variety of functions and conditions in driving. Sometimes, each system works together, some other times, each system works separated.

Every system used in vehicles, all aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness so that vehicles have a longer lifetime with a high level of durability and fuel-efficient

1. Brake System


Brake system serves to facilitate the driver in reducing speed and stopping the vehicle. The main function of the brake system is to decelerate or decrease the speed of a vehicle. By stepping on the brake pedal, the brake pads or brake shoes (for drum brake model) compress against rotor disc or drum attached to the wheel, which then forces the vehicle speed to slow down due to friction.


2. Fuel System


Fuel system serves to regulate the time and amount of fuel supply delivered to the engine. In the other side, the engine intake system used to suck clean air into engine cylinder so the fuel is mixed with air, atomized, and vaporized. Then it can be compressed in the engine cylinder and ignited to produce energy or power.


3. Emission System


The emission control system on cars is used to limit the disposal of harmful gases from internal combustion engines and other components. There are three main sources of this gas producer, engine exhaust, crankcase, and fuel tank and carburetor.

The system controls and processes the harmful gases generated from each of these components, so that the exhaust gases created by the engine can produce low and environmentally friendly emission levels.


4. Engine Cooling System


Engine cooling system serves to regulate the temperature and working temperature of the engine to remain ideal at the normal operating temperature. An engine cooling system works by sending a cold liquid coolant from radiator ann flow through passages in the engine block and heads. As the coolant flows through these passages, it picks up heat from the engine. The heated fluid then makes its way through a rubber hose to the radiator in the front of the car.

As it flows through the thin tubes in the radiator, the hot liquid is cooled by the air stream entering the engine compartment from the grill in front of the car. Once the fluid is cooled, it returns to the engine to absorb more heat. The water pump has the job of keeping the fluid moving through this system of plumbing and hidden passages.


5. Exhaust System


The exhaust system serves to regulate the remaining exhaust gases in order to reduce noise pollution and air pollution. An exhaust system carries waste gases and other combustion products away from car engine. It allows the vehicle to operate with minimal noise, smoke and pollution transmitted to the environment. A properly maintained exhaust system is essential to ensure the clean and efficient operation of the car.


6. Steering System


Steering system serves to set the steering wheel so the car is easy to control. The steering System is used to change the vehicle direction by rotating the tyres through the steering wheel operation. In this system is often added a power steering system that will accelerate the load wheel rotation and increase the comfort during operating the steering wheel


7. Suspension System


Suspension system serves to support the direction and dampen the vibration of the road during driving. The main function of the suspension system is to maximize the contact between the tyre and the road surface, providing good steering stability and handling, evenly supporting the vehicle weight (including frame, machine, and body), and ensuring comfort Passengers by absorbing and dampening shocks that occur during driving.


8. Charging System


Charging System serves to regulate the power supply for vehicles including to put it into the battery. It generates electric pressure, also known as voltage, and electrical power to run the vehicle's electrical systems while the engine is running. Otherwise, it also generates electrical current flow, known as amperage, to recharge and maintain the charge in the battery.


9. Transmission System


The Transmission system serves to regulate the change and speed of vehicles from the engine to the wheels. The main functions of the power transmission system are: To transmit power from the engine to the rear wheels, and to make reduced speed available. Otherwise, transmission system are used to alter the ratio of wheel speed and engine speed in order to suit the field conditions


10. Power Train System


Power train system serves to pass the power and the rotary speed of the engine to the wheels. It contains more than one components or parts such as propeller shaft, differenttial, axle shaft, or drive shaft for front wheel drive model.


11. Lighting System


Lighting system serves to regulate electrical system and lighting from car lamps such as headlamp, tail lamp, position lamp, brake lamp, etc.


12. Timing and electrical control system


Timing and electrical control system serves to control electrical components such as alarms, wipers, and door lock.This system used computer to make those electrical components works in normal operations.
